Zwei Mann und eine Drummaschine... das sind LisaWars. Im Jahr 2002 ins Leben gerufen, spielen Jens (Keyboard, Synthesizer) und Micha (Gitarre, Gesang) ihre ganz eigene Vision von dunkler Musik. Fern ab von irgendwelchen Sichtschranken wird bei LisaWars ein Cocktail aus New-Wave, Goth und Punk gemixt. Seltsame Texte, minimale Instrumentierung und keine Scheu vor den anderen Themen des menschlichen Lebens und das Alles gesungen auf deutsch. So oder auch "anders" könnte man das Duo beschreiben. Mit ihrer einzigartigen Mixtur aus deutschem Punk Rock der späten 70er und frühen 80er erhalten sie den Geist der NDW am Leben, ohne dabei einfach simpel zu kopieren, sondern mit ganz eigenem Arrangement und Texten.
"Auf Messers Schneide" kommt mit einer frischen Brise eines wertvollen Guts deutscher Kultur. NDW in Reinkultur wird von dem Duo geboten, als würde die Musik direkt aus den frühen 80ern stammen. Bands wie Nichts, Grauzone oder Die Radierer hätten es nicht besser machen können.
"Auf Messers Schneide" ist ihr neuestes Werk, welches sehr düster nud melancholisch daherkommt. Das Album ist ab sofort bei allen bekannten Downloadstores verfügbar.
Two men and a drum machine... This is LisaWars. Born in 2002, Jens (Keys, Synths) nd Micha (Guitar, Vocals) play their very own version of dark music. Far away from any borders, LisaWars is mixing a cocktail of New Wave, Goth and Punk. Strange Lyrics, minimal instrumentation and no fear of other topics of the human life, while everything is sung in german. With their unique mixture of the german Punk Rock of the late 70's and early 80's, they keep alive the spirit of NDW (Neue Deutsche Welle - German New Wave) without just copying, but with a very own setup of sounds and lyrics.
"Auf Messers Schneide" comes up with a fresh breeze of a valuable relic of german culture. NDW at its best is offered by the Duo, as it came straight from the early 80's. Bands like Nichts, Grauzone or Die Radierer couldn't do it any better.
